Referral enquiry form

What happens to a referral enquiry

When you send a referral enquiry, the name, email address, organisation and message you typed are stored in our referral records so that we can respond to you and consider the referral. We ask for your consent on the form before that happens, and the form only tells you it has been sent once it actually has.

If your browser cannot complete the check on the form, it offers to open the same details as an email in your own mail application instead. Nothing is stored by this website on that path — you send the message yourself.

To confirm you are a person rather than an automated script, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States, so that check involves a transfer outside the UK.

Email updates

When you give us your email address

If you use the email form on our home page, we store the email address you type, and nothing else. We do not ask for your name, we do not record a message, and no cookie is set by that form.

We store it so that we can contact you. There is no mailing list and no scheduled newsletter — the address sits in our records until we are in touch or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. It is held in our database, which is operated for us by Supabase.

Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us and we will delete the address. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or pass it to anyone else.

This form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check you are a person, on the same basis as the referral form above.

Cookies and local storage

Nothing optional is stored until you agree

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Until you choose to accept, this site stores nothing on your device except the record of that choice itself, and no analytics tool is loaded.

Your consent choice

Stored in your browser’s local storage so the banner does not ask again. This is necessary for the site to respect your decision, so it is kept whether you accept analytics or not.

Analytics

Only if you accept. We use analytics to understand which pages are useful. Automatic capture of everything you click is switched off: the site records page views and a small, fixed set of named events such as choosing a contact method or a form field failing validation. Analytics requests are served from this site’s own domain rather than a third-party one.

How you found us

Only if you accept analytics. Where a link brings you here with campaign or advertising parameters in the address, those parameters and the referring website are stored in your browser so we can tell which routes into the site are working.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings, which removes your stored choice and everything above along with it.

Where we hold personal information about you, you have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold and receive a copy
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete information, where we have no need to keep it
